Making "T" Type Transitions

1.) Rob Johnson National Training Manager for Basic Coatings

2.) The blade is raised until the bottom of the carbide tip is level with the top of the board

3.) The tongue of the board is cut off

4.) Rob draws out the transition

5.) First cut

6.) Second cut

7.) T transition taking shape

8.) Adjusting blade height with saw turned off

9.) Cutting off waste to leave just T area

10.) T transition takes shape

11.) Taper ends

12.) Completed but the center of the T will need to be supported. Place a small shim under the center when installed.
